SO great to see old friend Mari Smith, radiant as ever at the BraveHeart Kick Off Party for next year’s RISE this October.
I spoke last year and look forward to speaking again, creating sisterhood and rocking the room’s heart open in feminine power.
Jacquie is in the shot as well, a glorious new friend who is rocking HER world and just spoke at a David Nagel event… go sister!

2. Bust a Move- Once the kids are at school or in bed, let go of stress, move your hips wider than you normally do, breathe into all tight or anxious areas, forehead, shoulders, stomach, even your “Perma-Kegal” (if you’re like me), find some super sexy music…then dance for him! I don’t care what you groove to; Barry White, Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera – just something that makes you radiate sexiness. This way you won’t need his attention to feel beautiful which creates the space for him to shower you with attention. He’ll love this gift, and it’ll rev both your engines.
3. 9 ½ Weeks-If you haven’t seen this movie, you must add it to your Netflix cue. There are some hot lessons to learn from this flick. One of the best scenes was in the kitchen where Mickey Rourke (when he was sexy) and Kim Basinger feed each other – so hot! Being sexy is really about living life sensually, taking time to be present to all your senses…so take a lesson from 9 ½ weeks and feed him by hand, choose exotic savory exquisite smelling foods or simply make his favorite meal. You could also be the one to turn him on by eating something very sensually like a chocolate covered strawberry – do it in a way that would embarrass his friends. Another film to inspire you; Dangerous Beauty – Jacqueline Bisset eating an asparagus – you can learn a trick or two from her

Dear yummy beyond words friends,
Every time I’m willing to feel my heeby
jeebies, my crunchies, my Truth… a whole
new wave of power, energy, vitality and
LIFE flows through me. Thank you to all of
you around the world who said my willingness
to reveal my truth somehow freed you.
Since I emailed you last, I’ve spoken again
at Cal State Poly Pomona and was moved to
tears by the young women’s vulnerability and
also by the huge honor it is to empower a group
of women who are twice the national average for
unplanned pregnancies, twice the national
average for contemplating suicide… my message
is needed and I am moved that I get to show up
and create change.
I also had a preen myself away after an hour
interview, which would have lasted at least
three hours, with Nina Hartley. This woman
rocks.
She enjoyed playfully teasing me, the monogamous
one (compared with her bi sexual polyandrous
truth) and yet we were absolutely aligned in
our conviction that healthy relationships of
ALL varieties MUST begin with telling ourselves
the truth, dissolving all shame, and giving our
selves permission to have full self expression
of our truth with love of self and others.
She showed me her bedroom, her sex room, her
closets, her wedding album. I just can’t begin
to tell you about the art on the walls, the
magazines everywhere (hubby is editor of Taboo)
and the coffee table items displayed. NOT a
place I can take Gabe to hang out while mommy does
her interview next month as she invited me
back on HER Live Webcast next month!! Fun!
I will let you know about that airing and how
you can see this entire 60 minute, b-roll heavy,
vulnerable, intelligent, sexy interview.
She gave me a signed copy of her book and I
went straight to a sexy bar in Los Feliz and
had wine and Carpaccio and read most of it. Hot.
