Icicles & Palm Trees

OK… the Holidays make me really happy. They used to make me sad when it reminded me I was single or divorced, or reminded me that my mom had died… yet now I reframe most everything into Gratitude (that of course after having GOOD cried, feeling and validating my feelings and finding the nugget of wisdom the experience brought me).
Last night I went to Willie Nelson with the new man I’m dating down at the cool Nokia Theatre in downtown LA. Willie has such a presence. He hardly does much and yet owns the room. It’s like he’s so sure of himself, that his Self doesn’t exist and he’s a vacuum for Life Force to flow through him and he’s larger than life and mesmerizing.
I was so happy after the show I had my boyfriend take photos of my joy infront of an electric Xmas tree and then walking along the streets under electric icicles and natural LA palm trees! Pretty wild for this small town Canadian girl!
